I had an interest in real estate after our family home burnt down in the 2003 Canberra bushfires and the mediocre experience my parents had in renting then purchasing again in 2004. I started with a small agency in August 2006 then moved to Independent in February 2007 and have stayed ever since.

It can be difficult to choose an agent. There are many factors to consider, but one of the key things to look for is evidence that they can do what they say they can do. While commission plays a part of the selection process, the best value agent is the one that sells your home for the highest price, not simply offering a low commission.
